Speed Up Bug (1/?)


Hello all! A couple of people have informed me that there is a bug which speeds up the game's processes after Finch burns. It doesn't happen on my end, but one of these lovely people streamed it to me, so I know it's happening. From what I understand there are two possible reasons for why this is happening, one I can fix and one I cannot. 

  1. The first option is that the parallel processes that control which music plays at what time are running at the same time, which confuses rpgmaker and messes with the speed of the game. This is the one I can change, so I have unified some of the processes in hopes that it will fix the problem. There used to be 1 event per piece of music after burning on each map, now there's one event with different pagers per piece of music on each map.
  2. The second option is that this is a result of a player computer's hardware being different than my own computers (and the game working differently because of that), which I am not able to fix. I was told to say "try limiting the FPS on your GPU" as a potential fix, but I am unsure what else I can really do if this is the issue.

If the problem persists after option one, I will have to look into other ideas. Apologies if you are experiencing this bug.
